Professionalism

According to Kinns (2011): The meaning of professionalism is the conduct or qualities characterized by or conforming to the technical or ethical standards of a profession; exhibiting a courteous, conscientious, and gener wholey businesslike manner. (p.44) The doctor I confide to have the epitome of professionalism is Dr. Frank Ellis. Dr. Ellis is an Ob-Gyn doctor that I have seen since November 21st, 2011. He graduated from the University Of Tennessee Health Science stub total College Of Medicine in 1984 (Health Grades). He finished his abode in 1986 at the University of Tennessee Memorial Hospital- Obgyn (Health Grades). The reasons why I believe he is a person of professionalism are because at all my appointments that I have had with him, he has unceasingly been courteous and aboveboard with me. He is also conscientious which means he is invariably development extreme care and great effort when evaluating me and always has a nurse in the room when doing his physical e xams on me. He is always professional and businesslike when he talks to me, my mom, and fiancé slightly the things that need to be done and the precautions that I should be victorious while pregnant. He has neer been un-professional with me or my family.

Also, with all his separate patients that I know, he has been the same way with them and their family. He has never said or done anything that was un-professional, like flirting, with me either.
